  • 1911: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá speaks at L'Alliance Spiritualiste in St. Germain, Paris.
  • 1912: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá offers two talks at the home of Mrs. Parsons in Washington D.C. Later in the day, He attends the first Bahá’í interracial banquet, where He presents everyone with flowers and sweets.
  • 1957: The funeral of the Guardian, Shoghi Effendi, takes place in New Southgate, London at 2 PM (monument pictured).

  • 1853: Prisoners from Nayríz arrive in Shíráz, carrying the heads of Bábí martyrs. More Bábís are executed, and their heads are sent to Tihrán. The heads are later buried at Ábádih.
  • 1912: A dinner is held at the Kinney home in New York City, at which `Abdu'l-Bahá and the white Bahá'ís serve the black Bahá'ís.
  • 2004: The restoration of the prison citadel that was occupied by Bahá'u'lláh and His family upon their arrival in Akká is completed (Bahá'u'lláh's prison cell pictured).
