  • 1944: God Passes By, a history of the first century of the Bábí and Bahá’í Faiths and the only full-sized book by Shoghi Effendi, is published.
  • 1955: ‘Alí-Muhammad Varqá (pictured) is appointed a Hand of the Cause to succeed his father.
  • 1957: Following the funeral of Shoghi Effendi, five Hands of the Cause enter his apartment, which had been previously locked and secured. They secure his personal safe and desk drawers, in preparation for a thorough search for his Will.
  • 2008: Three of a series of 41 regional conferences of the Five Year Plan take place: One in Bangui, Central African Republic, another in Bangalore, India, and another in Uvira, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
  • 2018: Shapoor Monadjem, former member of the International Teaching Center and Brazil's National Spiritual Assembly, dies.
