  • 1942: Manuel Bergés Chupani, of Sánchez, Dominican Republic, becomes a Bahá’í, perhaps the first native Dominican person to accept the Faith.
  • 1962: The superstructure of the Baha'i House of Worship near Frankfurt is completed, and the Temple is turned over to the Bahá’ís by the contractor.
  • 1984: Shu‘á‘u’lláh ‘Alá’í, Hand of the Cause of God, dies in Scottsdale, Arizona.
