  • 1925: Death of Hand of the Cause and Disciple of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá John Esslemont.
  • 1985: The Promise of World Peace is presented to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Javier Perez de Cuellar, by Hand of the Cause Amatu’l-Bahá Rúhíyyih Khánum and representatives of the Bahá’í International Community.
  • 1992: The Bahá'í Faith is mentioned in the media of Mozambique for the first time.
  • 2008: Four out of a series of 41 regional conferences of the Five Year Plan take place in Quito, New Delhi, Kolkata, and Lubumbashi.
