  • 1909: Dr. Susan Moody arrives in Tehran. She establishes Sehat Hospital along with four Persian Bahá'í doctors.
  • 1957: The Hands of the Cause issue a unanimous proclamation to the Baha'i world stating that Shoghi Effendi had left no Will and Testament, and announcing the appointment of nine Custodians who would act on behalf of the Baha'i World Faith until such time as the Universal House of Justice could be elected.
  • 1985: The Promise of World Peace is presented to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Javier Pérez de Cuéllar.
