- 1921: Agnes Alexander speaks at a public meeting in Seoul, with an audience of about 900 people.
- 1980: Varqá Tibyáníyán is arrested a second time and imprisoned in Evin Prison, where he is severely tortured.[1]
- 1984: Dedication of the House of Worship in Apia, Western Samoa.
- 2017: Dedication of the first local Bahá’í House of Worship, located in Battambang, Cambodia.[2]

- 1848: August Forel, famous scientist and Bahá'í. Received a well-known tablet from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.
- 1892: Naomi Simmons, African-American Bahá'í and delegate to National Convention of the United States.
- 1911: Elise Liknaitzaky, South African Bahá’í and member of the National Spiritual Assembly of South and West Africa.
Deaths[edit]
- 1925: Arthur Brauns, early German Bahá'í and Disciple of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá who introduced his father-in-law August Forel to the Bahá’í Faith.[3][4] Drowned while on a rafting trip.[5]
- 1980: John Allen, American Bahá'í named a Knight of Bahá’u’lláh for pioneering to Swaziland; Auxiliary Board member for Africa, and member of the first National Spiritual Assembly of South and West Africa.
- 2013: Joel Marangella, American Bahá’í who followed Charles Mason Remey in breaking the Covenant after the passing of Shoghi Effendi.
- 2021: Farhang Javid, member of the National Spiritual Assembly of France.
