- 1998: The Bahá’ís of Canada commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the establishment of the National Spiritual of Canada at that year's National Convention.[1]
- 2008: After an early morning sweep on their homes in Tehran, six members of the Yárán are arrested at their homes and taken to Iran's notorious Evin Prison where they are held incommunicado.[2]
