- 1850: Vahíd arrives in Nayríz. He proclaims the Báb's mission in a Mosque, which results in the Governor taking action against him. Vahíd and a group of Bábís are besieged in the fort of Khájih.
- 1967: Rúḥíyyih Khánum meets with Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of India.[1]
- 1970: The Bahá’í International Community is granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
- 2008: /r/bahai, the first Bahá’í group on Reddit, is created.
