- 1849: Royal troops build fortifications around the Fort of Shaykh Tabarsi and begin bombarding it. Some of these fortifications were destroyed by a group of nineteen led by Mírzá Muhammad-Báqir a few days later.
- 1863: Mírzá Áqá Ján publicly recited the Tablet of the Holy Mariner to the Bábís in Baghdad on the fifth day of Naw-Rúz.[1]
- 1987: The National Spiritual Assembly of South and West Africa officially changes its name to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of South Africa.[2]
