- 1912: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá returns to New York.[1]
- ‘Abdu’l-Bahá has His first sitting for the portrait painted by Juliet Thompson.[2]
- 1955: The House of Bahá’u’lláh in Tákur, Mázandarán, Iran, is taken over.[3]
- 1960: A Bahá’í pioneer leaves Thailand to settle in Luang Prabang, Laos.[4]
- 1966: The counter-claim of the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States against the followers of Charles Mason Remey restraining them from using Bahá’í names and symbols, is upheld when the Covenant-breakers fail to appear at the trial.[5]
- 1992: Bahá'ís from many countries participate in the United Nations Conference on the Environment (UNCED), known as the Earth Summit, and the Global Forum for non-governmental organizations in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[6][7]

- 1898: Áqá Ghulám-Husayn-i-Banádakí, killed by a mob in Yazd after refusing to deny his faith.[8]
- 1982: ‘Atá’u’lláh Haqqání, Iranian Bahá’í martyr. Found dead with signs of being tortured, stabbed, and strangled.[9]
- 1986: Dipchand Khianra, Continental Counselor.
