- 1853: The Church And State Gazette of London prints an account of the growing influence of "a certain 'Babee'".[1]
- 1912: ‘Abdu’l-Bahá visits Milford, Pennsylvania, and stays there overnight.
- 1934: Robert Abbott, editor of the prominent African-American newspaper, the Chicago Defender, declares his faith in Bahá’u’lláh at that year's National Convention.
- 1957: The Covenant-breakers occupying the properties surrounding the Shrine of Bahá’u’lláh and the Mansion of Bahjí lose their appeal to the Supreme Court of Israel; they are eventually evicted from the vicinity of the Shrine. Shoghi Effendi cables the Bahá’ís of the world announcing, "With feelings of profound joy, exultation and thankfulness, announce... signal, epoch-making victory won over the ignoble band of breakers of His Covenant..."
- 1980: Sattár Khushkhú is arrested and imprisoned in Adilabad Prison.[2]
