Sattár Khushkhú

Sattár Khushkhú (1918 - April 30, 1981) was a Persian Bahá’í who was martyred in Iran.
Biography[edit]
Khushkhú was born into a Bahá’í family in Shiraz in 1918. He married in 1941 and pioneered with his family to Kazerun, however their home was looted shortly after their arrival and they returned to Shiraz. The family later pioneered to Estahbanat then returned to Shiraz where Khushkhú began working for Iran's Ministry of Education.[1]
In 1978 the Khushkhú's home in Shiraz was looted and burned down during a period of violence against the cities Bahá’í community. Khushkhú was arrested on June 3, 1980, and imprisoned in Adilabad prison. He was executed by firing squad on April 30, 1981.[1]
