Bahá’u’lláh, founder of the Bahá'í Faith, wrote many books, tablets and prayers, of which only a fraction have been translated into English. Bahá’u’lláh revealed thousands of tablets with a total volume more than 70 times the size of the Qur'án and more than 15 times the size of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.[1][2][3]
Bahá’u’lláh most well-known works translated into English are:
- The Kitáb-i-Aqdas (The Most Holy Book)
- The Kitáb-i-Íqán (The Book of Certitude)
- The Hidden Words
- Gems of Divine Mysteries
- Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh
- Epistle to the Son of the Wolf
- Prayers and Meditations
- Proclamation of Bahá’u’lláh
- The Seven Valleys and the Four Valleys
- Summons of the Lord of Hosts
- Tabernacle of Unity
- Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh Revealed After the Kitáb-i-Aqdas
Listed below are some of the most well-known writings of Bahá’u’lláh organized roughly by the period in which they were likely revealed, however this is not a comprehensive list of all of Bahá’u’lláh's works and in some cases the period in which a Tablet was revealed is not yet conclusively known.
For translations see Translations of the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh. For English publications see Publications of the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh.
