From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

The Lawḥ al-Raḥmat, provisionally translated as Tablet of the Merciful One, is a Tablet revealed in Persian and Arabic by Bahá’u’lláh. It has not yet been officially translated, but a provisional translation exists.

Stephen Lambden notes that the term raḥmat is important in Islamic theology and mentioned in multiple hadith and the Qur'an, and estimates that the Tablet was revealed between 1856 and 1858.
