Az-Bágh-i-Iláhí

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

Az-Bágh-i-Iláhí, provisionally translated as From the Gardens of Holiness, is a Tablet revealed by Bahá’u’lláh in both Arabic and Persian.

Adib Taherzadeh writes that the Tablet consists of verses alternating between Persian first and Arabic second. The theme of the Tablet is the coming of the Day of God, alluding to Bahá’u’lláh Himself.

Taherzadeh places the date of the revelation of the Tablet to shortly before the Declaration of Bahá’u’lláh.

Provisional Translation[edit]

  • An English translation of this Tablet set to blank verse by Adib Masumian in October 2021.
