Lawḥ-i-Húríyyih
Lawh-i-Húríyyih, provisionally translated as the Tablet of the Maiden, is an Arabic Tablet revealed by Bahá’u’lláh in Baghdad.
Adib Taherzadeh describes the Tablet as being structured as a dialogue between Bahá’u’lláh as the Supreme Manifestation of God and a Maid of Heaven for the purpose of describing Divine Revelation Itself. Taherzadeh notes that it uses allusive language.
The Tablet has not yet been officially translated into English, however a provisional translation exists. In a letter written on its behalf the Universal House of Justice has stated that this translation is far from adequate and fails to give a correct impression of what is being conveyed by the Tablet, but leaves the decision of whether or not to use the translation up to individuals' discretion.
