Publications of the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh
The Writings of Bahá'u'lláh have been translated and published in English from the time when the Bahá’í Faith began to gain prominence in the West during the Ministry of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. Current publications can be freely accessed at the official Bahá'í Reference Library.
Individual Bahá’ís can attempt their own translations for personal use and have them published in journals and shared electronically as provisional translations, but if they are to be published they are submitted to the Bahá’í World Centre for review.[1] Many compilations of the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh exist in English which collect quotes from previously published sources rather than containing unique translated material. These have been prepared for various purposes, but especially to introduce the uninitiated reader to the breadth of Bahá'u'lláh's Writings.
For a partial list of the original Tablets see Writings of Bahá'u'lláh, for other languages see Translations of the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh.
