Kitáb-i-Bádi‘

From Bahaipedia
Jump to:navigation, search

The Kitáb-i-Badí‘ (the Wondrous Book) is a tablet written by Bahá’u’lláh some time between 1867 and 1868. Bahá’u’lláh wrote the tablet in defense of His Faith in response to a number of objections and accusations which had been addressed to one of His companions in Adrianople. The Tablet not only refutes these objections and accusations with convincing proofs, but also addresses at length the prophecies of the Báb surrounding Him Whom God shall make manifest, demonstrates that the purpose of the Báb's revelation was to prepare the way for the advent of Bahá’u’lláh, and recounts the circumstances of the rebellion of Mírzá Yahyá, among other topics.[1]
