The British Two Year Plan (1951-1953) was given by Shoghi Effendi to the National Spiritual Assembly of the British Isles.

Goals[edit]

The goals of the Two Year Plan were as follows:[1]

  1. To strengthen the nineteen Local Spiritual Assemblies already established in the British Isles
  2. To form nuclei in three dependencies of the British Crown in East or West Africa
  3. To translate, publish and disseminate Bahá’í literature in three additional African languages
