The British Six Year Plan (1944-1950) was given by Shoghi Effendi to the National Spiritual Assembly of the British Isles.
Goals[edit]
The goals of the Six Year Plan were as follows:[1]
- Raise to nineteen the number of Local Spiritual Assemblies
- Double the membership of the community
- Settle pioneers in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland
Outcomes[edit]
Some of the outcomes of the Six Year Plan were as follows:[2]
- Number of Local Spiritual Assemblies raised to twenty-four.
- Pioneers settled in Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
