The Egyptian Five Year Plan (1948-1953) was given by Shoghi Effendi to the National Spiritual Assembly of Egypt and Sudan.

Goals

The goals of the Egyptian Five Year Plan were as follows:

1. Raise to nine the number of Local Spiritual Assemblies
2. Raise to thirty-three the number of localities where Bahá’ís reside
3. Send pioneers to Tunisia, Algeria and Libya
4. Acquire property for a Bahá’í school
5. Issue a Bahá’í magazine.
6. Consolidate the community in Ethiopia.
