The Egyptian Five Year Plan (1948-1953) was given by Shoghi Effendi to the National Spiritual Assembly of Egypt and Sudan.
Goals[edit]
The goals of the Egyptian Five Year Plan were as follows:[1]
- Raise to nine the number of Local Spiritual Assemblies
- Raise to thirty-three the number of localities where Bahá’ís reside
- Send pioneers to Tunisia, Algeria and Libya
- Acquire property for a Bahá’í school
- Issue a Bahá’í magazine.
- Consolidate the community in Ethiopia.
