The Canadian Five Year Plan (1948-1953) was given by Shoghi Effendi to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Canada.
Goals[edit]
The goals of the Five Year Plan were as follows:[1]
- Incorporate the National Spiritual Assembly
- Establish national endowments
- Increase to thirty the number of Local Spiritual Assemblies
- Increase to one hundred the number of localities where Bahá’ís reside
- Form a group in Newfoundland
- Form a group in Greenland
- Enroll Inuit and Native Indians in the Faith
