The German Five Year Plan (1948-1953) was given by Shoghi Effendi to the National Spiritual Assembly of Germany and Austria.

Goals[edit]

The goals of the Five Year Plan were as follows:[1]

  1. Double the number of Local Spiritual Assemblies from fourteen to 28, increasing the Bahá’í membership in each community
  2. Raise the number of localities in Germany and Austria where Bahá’ís reside
  3. Deepen the understanding of the friends in the operation of the Administrative Order
  4. Encourage deeper study of the teachings
  5. Construct the National Ḥaẓíratu’l-Quds in Frankfurt
  6. To enrich Bahá’í literature with two publications by March 1949, fifteen by March 1950, six by March 1951 and nine by 1952
