Anneliese Bopp (1921 - February 20, 2012) was a German Bahá’í who served as a Continental Counselor for Europe and as a member of the International Teaching Center.

Background[edit]

Bopp was born into a Bahá’í family in 1921 with her relatives being among the earliest Bahá’ís in Germany. She was an active member of the community and was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of Germany, contributing to efforts to construct the Mashriqu’l-Adhkár of Germany while serving as its Secretary.[1]

In 1970 Bopp was appointed to the Continental Board of Counselors for Europe and served as a Counselor until 1979 when she was appointed to the International Teaching Center moving to Haifa to serve on the body. She served on the International Teaching Center until 1988.[1]
