Chuungu Malitonga is a Zambian Bahá’í currently serving as a member of the Universal House of Justice.
Background
Malitonga studied education at the University of Zambia and worked in the field of education and development in several organizations, including with the Masetlha Foundation and Inshindo Foundation in Zambia. In his personal life he is married to Mushota Mwansa and has three sons.
Malitonga served on the National Spiritual Assembly of Zambia,[1] before his appointment to the Continental Board of Counsellors for Africa in 2008.[2] He was appointed to the International Teaching Center in 2010 and elected to the Universal House of Justice in April 2013.[3]
