Shahriar Razavi (b. 1965) is a Bahá’í from the United Kingdom currently serving as a member of the Universal House of Justice.[1]

Background

Born in 1965 in Kerman, Iran, Shahriar Razavi moved with his family to the UK in 1978 at the age of thirteen. There he attended middle school and high school, studied Physics at the University of London where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 1986, and a Master’s degree from the London Business School in 1997. He worked as a management consultant in several firms. In 1993 he married Tiffani Betts and have three children.[2]

Razavi has served the Bahá’í community in various capacities and was appointed as a Continental Counsellor for Europe in 2000.[3] In 2003 he was appointed to the International Teaching Center and moved from the UK to the Holy Land with his family to serve at the Bahá’í World Center.[2] In 2008 he was elected to the Universal House of Justice.[4]
