Albert Nshisu Nsunga is a Congolese Bahá’í currently serving as a member of the Universal House of Justice.
Background
Nsunga was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He studied chemical engineering and metallurgy at University of Lubumbashi and went on to work in a mining company where he held a supervisory role for twenty-three years. In his personal life he is married to Lydie Mwabile Ngoie and they have two children.
Nsunga served on the National Spiritual Assembly of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 1988 to 2005 and was then appointed as a Continental Counsellor for Africa serving from 2005 to 2018. He was appointed to the International Teaching Center in 2018 and moved to the Holy Land to serve on the body, serving until being elected to the Universal House of Justice in 2023.[1]
