The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the body responsible for administrating the Bahá’í community of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
History[edit]
A National Spiritual Assembly was formed for the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1970.[1] The name of the Assembly was changed to the National Spiritual Assembly of Zaire when the Country was renamed in 1971.
The Assembly was dissolved in 1981 with three Administrative Committees forming to oversee Bahá’í administration in the country,[2] up until the Assembly reformed as the National Spiritual Assembly of Zaire in 1987.[3]
