His many years of dedicated work to promote the cause of God, including as a member of the Continental Corps of Advisors in Africa and your National Assembly, leaves a rich legacy of service that will long be remembered. Constant, humble and imperturbable in his service at the threshold of the Lord, may his radiant example be a source of inspiration to all who knew him. We send our sincere condolences to his dear wife, Joëlle, his children and other members of his family who, just a few days ago, suffered another heavy loss. We also assure our fervent prayers to the sacred mausoleums for the progress of the noble soul of Jean-Pierre in all the worlds of God and for their comfort and consolation in this difficult time.
We request that a memorial gathering be held in his honor at the House of Worship in Kampala and that commemorations be held in communities across Africa, such as in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as circumstances permit.[1]
