Andrej Donoval (b. 1974) is a Slovakian Bahá’í currently serving on the Universal House of Justice.
Background
Donoval was born in 1974 in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, where he attended middle school and high school. In 1994 he married Martina Konecna and they have three children. In his professional career Donoval has worked as an entrepreneur involved in several private businesses and in 2006 he and his wife established the first International Montessori School in Bratislave, Slovakia, which they ran until 2013. He received a diploma from Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) for early childhood education in Munich, Germany in 2007.
Donoval was an active member of the Bahá’í community of Slovakia and was elected to the National Spiritual Assembly of the Czech & Slovak Republics in 1997 and the independent National Spiritual Assembly of Slovakia the following year. He served on the Assembly until 2010 when he was appointed as a Counselor and in 2013 he was appointed to the International Teaching Center and he and his wife relocated to Haifa, Israel.[1][2] In 2023 he was elected to the Universal House of Justice.
