Uransaikhan Baatar-Granfar is a Mongolian Bahá’í who has served as a Continental Counselor for Asia and as a member of the International Teaching Center.[1]

Background[edit]

Baatar was first appointed as a Counselor by the Universal House of Justice in 2000 for a five year term and for a second term in 2005.[2] In 2008 she was appointed to the International Teaching Centre relocating to the Holy Land and in November that year she visited Africa and represented the Universal House of Justice at regional conferences in Lusaka, Zambia,[3] and Nakuru, Kenya.[4]

In 2018 Baatar completed her service on the International Teaching Centre. She settled in Geneva, Switzerland, after departing the Holy Land and in December 2019 she facilitated a session at the Swiss Bahá’í Winter School in Leysin.[5] She is currently a faculty member at the University of Geneva in the Centre for Humanitarian Studies.[6]
