Alison Milston is an American Bahá’í who served as a Continental Counselor for the Americas and as a member of the International Teaching Center.

Background[edit]

Milston is from Minnesota and she completed a degree in Marriage and Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota. In her professional career she began working in administration for the Capella University and a Music College in St. Paul, Minnesota.[1]

In her Bahá’í service Milston served as regional institute coordinator for several states in the mid-west of the USA, as a member of several Local Spiritual Assemblies, and as an assistant to Auxiliary Board members for Protection. She was elected to the Regional Bahá’í Council of the Central States and served on the body in the early 2000's.[1]

In 2008 Milston was appointed as a Continental Counselor for the Americas filling a vacancy left by appointments to the International Teaching Center and she was appointed for a full five year term in 2010. She did not complete her term as she was appointed to the International Teaching Center herself in 2013 and moved to the Holy Land to serve on the body for a five year term.[1]

In 2018 Milston completed her term on the International Teaching Center and departed the Holy Land settling in Apia, Samoa. As of 2021 she had moved to Whangarei, New Zealand.[1]
