Joan Lincoln is a former member of the Bahá’í Faith's International Teaching Center.[1]
Background[edit]
Lincoln and her husband, Albert, pioneered from the United States to France at the start of the 1970's,[2] and then to French speaking Africa as of 1972.[3] She studied music at an undergraduate level, and completed a Master's Degree in African Musicology at the University of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.[4]
She was appointed to the International Teaching Center in 1993 and served on the body until 2013, and since completing her service on the body she has visited Bahá’í communities in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific, to assist in developing human resources.[5]
