Eleventh International Convention

The Eleventh International Convention held to elect the Universal House of Justice was held from April 29th to May 2nd, 2013. It marked the 50th Anniversary of the First International Convention.
Summary[edit]
The Convention was attended by over one thousand delegates from National Spiritual Assemblies across the world. The delegates arrived shortly before the beginning of the Convention so that they could visit the Holy Shrines.[1]
The election took place on the first day of the Convention with a total of one thousand five-hundred ballots being cast, over four hundred by mail.[2] The results were announced on the second day. The rest of the Convention consisted of discussions on the Bahá'í community. The film Frontiers of Learning was shown for the first time at the Convention.
