Twelfth International Convention

The Twelfth International Convention held to elect the Universal House of Justice was held in 2018.
Summary[edit]
Around 1,300 delegates representing over 160 National Spiritual Assemblies participated in the Convention, arriving shortly prior to the beginning on April 29th in order to pray and meditate at the Sacred Shrines and other holy places.[1]
The election took place on the first day of the Convention with ballots being submitted, including mail ballots from delegates who could not attend, and in total over 1,500 votes were cast.[2] After the election consultations were held to discuss the development of the Bahá'í community and its contributions to society.[3]
