February 3: A golden tile from the roof of the Shrine of the Báb is donated to the Dutch Roof Tile Museum by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Netherlands.^[2]
March 21: The Bahá’í community of Vietnam is officially registered with the government as a religious community operating nationwide.
April 7: A monument commemorating ‘Abdu’l-Bahá's visit to the German town Bad Mergntheim originally erected in 1916 which was removed by the Nazi regime is re-erected.^[3]
April 19: The Bahá’í community of Slovakia receives official recognition from the government granting it the right to own property, observe holy days, disseminate literature and other activities.^[4]
April 30: A panel discussion on The Ethical Dimension of Climate Change organized by the Bahá’í International Community is held as part of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development.^[5]
June 23 - 29: A Bahá’í Arts and Music Festival is held in Cyprus.^[6]
