The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the Windward Islands was a regional administrative body for several national Bahá’í communities in the West Indies.
History[edit]
The National Spiritual Assembly of the Windward Islands was formed in 1972. It was responsible for administrating the Faith in St. Lucia, St. Vincent, the Grenadines, Grenada, and Barbados.[1]
In 1981 Barbados formed an independent National Spiritual Assembly. In 1983 Saint Lucia and Dominica formed independent National Assemblies and a joint Assembly continued to administrate the Faith in Saint Vincent and Grenada until those countries established independent Assemblies in 1984.[2]
