Horace Mozart Newton (December 14, 1923 - March, 1995) was the first Barbadian Bahá’í.

Newton was born in Barbados in 1923. He was introduced to the Faith and became the first person from Barbados to become a Bahá’í in 1963.[1] The Local Spiritual Assembly of Christ Church was established in 1965 and Newton was elected to the body serving on it for two decades.[2] He served on the National Spiritual Assembly of the Windward Islands at some point after it was established in 1972 for one year.[1]
