The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Mauritius is the administrative body responsible for administrating the Bahá’í Faith in the country of Mauritius.
History[edit]
The United States was assigned the responsibility to develop the Bahá’í community of Mauritius in 1953. [1] In 1956 the National Spiritual Assembly of South and West Africa was formed including the country of Mauritius.[2] In 1964, the National Assembly of South and West Africa was dissolved and the National Spiritual Assembly of the Indian Ocean was formed and included Mauritius.[3]. The National Spiritual Assembly of Mauritius was established in 1972.[4]
