Le Loc (d. January 20, 2019) was a member of the National Spiritual Assemblies of Southeast Asia and of Vietnam. He served on the former body from 1962, and was elected to newly formed Assembly of Vietnam upon its establishment in 1964, remaining until 1972.[1] During this time, he travelled outside the country, visiting the United States and speaking about the progress of the Bahá’í Faith in Vietnam, which was experiencing marked growth at the time.[2]

Following the reunification of North and South Vietnam in 1975, elections were suspended for a time, but he was re-elected to the body in 1977. The following year, a wide-ranging crackdown on religious groups took place; Loc was arrested along with another member of the Assembly and sent to a re-education camp, being released after some time. After the official registration of the Bahá’í community of Vietnam in 2007, the National Spiritual Assembly was re-established; Loc was elected to the body in 2008 and 2009.[1]

Loc was active in translating many of the Bahá’í Writings into Vietnamese, and authored several books relating to the Faith, including the introductory book Baha'i Là Gì? [What is Bahá’í?] (1972).
