Each One Teach One

Each One Teach One is a phrase expressing the individual Bahá’í's responsibility for teaching the Cause of God. It was the theme of a nationwide series of teaching conferences which took place in the United States during the year 133 BE (1975-1976), at the midpoint of the Five Year Plan, and of a booklet published for these conferences by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States.[1]
Four special conferences with the theme "Each One Teach One" initially took place in California, Illinois and New York in November and December 1975. These states were considered special goal areas during the Five Year Plan due to the amount of time ‘Abdu’l-Bahá spent in each of these places during His visit to America in 1912.[2] Following the success of these conferences, a series of 88 conferences along the same theme were held on March 27, 1976, one in each of the electoral districts in the United States.[1] In total, 92 conferences took place under the theme during the year 133 BE.[3]
