- 1912: 'Abdul-Bahá visits the home of William Jennings Bryan (future secretary of state under Woodrow Wilson), in Lincoln, Nebraska. Although Bryan is not home, 'Abdul-Bahá meets with his wife and daughter.
- 2007: Passing of Dr. ‘Alí-Muhammad Varqá, the longest surviving Hand of the Cause of God.
