- Amínu’l-Bayán is martyred in Ádhirbáyján. Hájí Amín succeeds him as Trustee of the Huqúqu'lláh.
- March 24: Mírzá Yahyá is freed by the British administration of Cyprus. He makes a request for British citizenship which is denied.
