The Vatican City is one of the only countries in the world with no recorded Bahá'í community. It is a city-state that is home to the Holy See of the Catholic Church.

For some time in the 1950's Ugo Giachery lived in an apartment block that belonged to the Vatican just outside of St. Peter's Square.[1] In 1996 Feridun Mazlum, a Swiss Bahá’í, presented a copy of the Hidden Words to Pope John Paul II at a public audience held in the Vatican.[2]
