Talk:Borrah Kavelin
From Bahaipedia
A correction to this page is needed: The last paragraph says he was on the NSA for 13 years-from 1950 to 1963. However, he was elected to the International Baha'i Council in 1961, and presumably moved to Haifa at that point. So perhaps he served on the NSA of the USA only for 11 years? Or did he start on the NSA two years earlier (i.e. in 1948) and serve 13 years until 1961?
- I revisited the Baha'i News issues and found that it is not a mistake. Issue 375 on page 9 confirms that he was a member of both the IBC and NSA. I was trying to find the announcement for the formation of the NSA but ran across that footnote first so I stopped there. Here is a direct link to the page image. - On this, Borrah Kavelin was a 'member-at-large' of the IBC, so he was serving on the body but not residing in the Holy Land. Jagar (talk) 19:19, 20 October 2020 (PDT)
