Richard D. Betts is an American Baháʼí who served on the National Spiritual Assembly of the United States.
Background[edit]
Betts was originally a Roman Catholic before becoming a Baháʼí in 1956.[1] As of 1967 he was living in Malibu, California, and that year he was appointed to the National Teaching Committee,[2] and as Executive Secretary of the North American Baháʼí Office for Human Rights.[3] As of 1969 he was Secretary of the National Teaching Committee.[4]
In his personal life Betts had married Bambi Worth as of 1970.[5]
