Bambi Betts
This article is about a Bahá'í author and needs to be expanded. |
Bambi Betts was raised in an active Baha'i family in Los Angeles, a sister to Wendi Momen. She was a pioneer to Portugal in the 1980s and served on the National Assembly of that country. She later moved to Venezuela and eventually back to the United States.
Bambi Betts has been the director of the Principals' Training Center for International School Leadership (PTC) and the Teacher Training Center for International Educators (TTC) since 1996 and is the founder of the two additional training centers for international educators, including counselors and school business leaders. Bambi has been actively involved with the PTC since its inception as a course developer, trainer, and co-trainer for the Essential Skills courses. She has also recently completed ten years as the CEO for the Academy for International School Heads (AISH).
Bambi realised the need for books helping small children to understand Bahá’í concepts. She planned twelve small books for children under seven years old, with nine so far published. The booklets were bound together in threes, and some now appear in a different format.
