The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Spain is the national administrative body for the Bahá’í community of Spain.

History[edit]

The first body to administrate the Bahá’í Faith in Spain on a National level was the National Spiritual Assembly of the Iberian Peninsula in 1957. In 1962 an independent National Spiritual Assembly of Spain was formed.

The Bahá’í community of the Canary Islands was administrated by the National Assembly of Spain until 1984 when it formed its own independent National Assembly due to its growth and geographic distance from Spain.[1]
