History[edit]
The first National Spiritual Assembly of the Canary Islands was formed at the Countries first National Convention in 1984.[1] Over seventy delegates from seven Local Spiritual Assemblies elected the first National Spiritual Assembly. ‘Alí-Akbar Furútan represented the Universal House of Justice at the Convention.[2]
