The National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Samoa is the body responsible for administrating the Bahá’í communities of the Independent State of Samoa and American Samoa.[1]

History[edit]

In 1953, Samoan Islands (Western Samoa and American Samoa) was assigned to the National Spiritual Assembly of Canada for development.[2] In 1959, Samoa was assigned to the new National Spiritual Assembly of the South Pacific Islands[3] In 1964, the National Assembly of the South Pacific Islands was dissolved and Samoa was assigned to the new National Spiritual Assembly of the South Pacific Ocean[4]

The National Spiritual Assembly of Samoa was established in 1970 at the first Samoan National Convention in Apia. Hand of the Cause Collis Featherstone was in attendance.[5]
